United Group is delighted to celebrate Francis Mejia, Maintenance Supervisor at Sandalwood Village, for reaching his ten-year milestone with the Company!
Francis began his journey with United Group in 2015 as a Maintenance Supervisor at United Development Corp. He later transitioned into the Maintenance Supervisor role at Diamond Oaks Village and, in 2022, became the Maintenance Supervisor at Sandalwood Village.
Francis has brought great energy and a strong work ethic to United Group over the last 10 years and works relentlessly to solve problems and help his colleagues and residents. Francis’s kindness and diligence make him a great asset to United Group, and we are delighted to celebrate him.

1.) What about United Group keeps you coming back year after year?
The reason I keep coming back is the strong sense of teamwork and support within the company.
2.) What memories have you cherished the most out of your 10 years with United?
I cherish the relationships I've built over the years: the camaraderie and everyday interactions have made my time here both fulfilling and enjoyable.
3.) In what ways have you seen the company grow and evolve?
The company has become more resident-focused and supportive of the people who keep everything running behind the scenes.
4.) What advice would you give to yourself on your first day of work after working for United Group for the past 10 years?
I would tell myself to embrace every learning opportunity. I’d say to enjoy the journey because the relationships and experiences will be worth it.
