UGOC Spotlight: United Group Secures Financing, Begins Construction on Terracotta Terrace

Casselberry, FL – The United Group of Companies, Inc. (“United Group”) has secured construction financing from Amerant Bank, N.A. (“Amerant”) for the development of Terracotta Terrace, a 152-unit luxury, market-rate, 55+, Active Adult community to be built in the Winter Park area within the Orlando MSA. This transaction represents the developer’s 6th 55+ Active Adult community in Florida, which is in addition to the 10,000+ market rate multi-family units that United Group has developed and/or acquired in Florida.

Terracotta Terrace will feature 152 spacious one- and two-bedroom apartment homes as well as very spacious penthouse floor plans, with private balconies/patios, in a 5-story wood-framed building. All units will consist of open-floor plans, nine-foot ceilings, full-sized kitchens and closets, large balconies, in-unit washer and dryer, luxury finishes and more. The Mediterranean-inspired architecture will also feature an interior landscaped central courtyard to be the focal point of the community. The courtyard will feature a pool, lounges, cabanas, fire pits, outdoor kitchen/ bar, bocce court, shuffleboard, and a dog park.
