Sandalwood Village Has Officially Opened!

Naples, FL – Today’s the day to become a part of Naples’ newest neighborhood! Sandalwood Village, an active, independent senior living community has officially opened its doors. Located at 3511 Vanderbilt Beach Road, residents have begun moving into their new homes and meeting their neighbors.
Prior to resident move-in, Sandalwood Village held one of its first community events on July 10th. Residents caravanned with one another in Sandalwood Village’s activities van to local eatery Coconut Jack’s to get to know one another and enjoy lunch. Activities Director Susan Lindner attended with the residents.
Sandalwood Village features the unique SUN® (Senior Umbrella Network) Program. The SUN Program is a seven-prong model that provides residents an array of services and activities designed to foster and support independent living and to enhance the active-senior lifestyle.
On Wednesday, July 29th from 3 – 5 PM, Sandalwood Village will host its first SUN Program event – a Relocation & Downsizing Seminar. This seminar is for active seniors looking to explore their options about relocating and downsizing, learn about real estate trends and statistics, request a home value report, as well as receive moving tips. There will also be guest speakers from Premier Sotheby’s International Realty and Hilton Movers in attendance.
Sandalwood Village is an amenity-rich, independent senior housing community open to active adults 55 and over. With a variety of 1- and 2-bedroom floor plans, each apartment home offers state-of-the-art kitchen appliances, a washer and dryer, vinyl plank floors, large closets, and a screened balcony.
Community features will include modern fitness center with locker rooms, media center, game room, on-site dining room and pub, hair salon, and an outdoor gated pool, spa, and patio. Recreational walking paths will also be on the grounds. The clubhouse at Sandalwood Village has been open since February 2015.
