Bonita Springs, FL-Diamond Oaks Village is pleased to announce that the brand new, luxury independent living community, located at 24110 South Tamiami Trail in Bonita Springs, adjacent to Pelican Bay Landing and 1.5 miles from Coconut Point Mall is a finalist for a gold or silver award from the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB).

“It’s an honor for the United Group of Companies to be recognized amongst such tough competition by a respected and valuable organization,” said Michael Uccellini, the President and CEO of the United Group of Companies, the developer of Diamond Oaks Village. “Thousands of Florida residents are selling their homes and downsizing to maintenance-free independent living communities, and we’re thrilled to help meet that demand by offering Diamond Oaks Village to the Bonita Springs community. Our goal was to create a unique and luxurious community with exciting lifestyle programs, activities, and state-of-the-art amenities to make selling a home and deciding to downsize a smart decision.”

Diamond Oaks Village has 160 large, maintenance-free one-and-two-bedroom apartments, with modern amenities and appliances, a screened in lanai, spacious walk-in closets, personal washer and dryer units, and covered garage parking. There is a 12,000 square foot state-of-the-art clubhouse in the center of the community with a fitness center, media room, beauty salon, bistro bar, pub, community and private dining rooms, game room and multiple patios. Surrounding the clubhouse, residents can enjoy a heated community pool and spa, putting green, bocce court, and fenced dog park. The community is also within walking distance to retail and grocery stores. Diamond Oaks Village won the NAHB “Best 55+ Clubhouse (On The Boards)” award in 2016.

To qualify for an award, real estate developers from across the country submitted extensive project details and portfolios to the NAHB’s 55+ Housing Industry Council. The judges chose Diamond Oaks Village amongst hundreds of entries from across the country for the “Best 55+ Independent Living Community” award.
