A Health Savings Account (HSA) allows an employee to set aside pre-tax dollars from their pay to cover eligible expenses for themselves and eligible dependents.
Employees are invited to participate in the United Group 401(k) retirement plan after one year of employment and upon their quarterly entry date. United has a Safe Harbor program and provides for a dollar for dollar match on the first 3% an employee contributes and fifty cents on the dollar on the next 2% an employee contributes to the Plan. Employee’s defer 5% of their wages, the Company matches 4% towards their retirement.
United Group has partnered with the College Tuition Benefit program, so while our employees are saving for their retirement, we help put their children through college. This unique program provides Tuition Rewards which are based on the employee’s 401(k) balance each year. Those rewards are a dollar reduction in tuition at participating colleges and can pay for up to one (1) year of college tuition.
