Fox Fest 2023 - A Rodeo of Fun!

The much-awaited Fox Fest was a HIT! With over 200 attendees coming out to participate in the festivities the afternoon was packed with great food, drinks, and even cute animals to pet! The event, which was held in the community courtyard, was bustling with energy and excitement from the start. The team, (shout out to Field Marketing Manager Kennedy Oppelt!) did an amazing job with every aspect of the event and made sure to feature vendors and activities to keep everyone entertained throughout the afternoon. 

One of the most popular attractions at the event was the mechanical bull! Attendees lined up to take a turn riding the bull, with many trying to see how long they could stay on. The petting zoo was also a massive success, allowing everyone to take turns petting the adorable llamas, goats, and ponies.

For those feeling hungry, The Grille Wagon Food Truck had a fantastic selection of mouth-watering dishes, including a nearly endless array of sandwiches and delicious BBQ dishes. The Bubbly Pony Beverage Cart provided refreshing custom, on-trend drinks, and for dessert, The Garden Pastry provided a delicious, western style cake that was the perfect end to the celebration.

In addition to the food and activities, Fox Fest 2023 also had an exciting Push-Up Contest, led by Marist College alum and influencer Billy Floyd, in partnership with Legacy Fitness Club. Participants were challenged to see how many push-ups they could do in a minute, with some managing to do an impressive 100+!

The highlight of the event had to be the exciting prize drawings, where those who entered could win a custom denim jacket, a Lululemon belt bag, and on-campus organization gift cards.

Overall, Fox Fest 2023 was a fantastic event that brought the campus community together for a day of fun and entertainment. The team, lead by passionate Filed Marketing Manager Kennedy Oppelt, did an amazing job organizing the event, and we look forward to more events like this one in the future.
