Glenmont Abbey Village Celebrates Grand Opening

Glenmont Abbey Village, one of United Group’s newest independent senior living communities located in Glenmont, NY, celebrated their grand opening ceremony on Tuesday, April 19. Members of the community and the Town of Bethlehem, prospective and current residents, and the United Group family gathered to welcome the 55+ active community to the neighborhood.

Attendees heard from Vice President of Senior Housing Sharon Kelley, Bethlehem Town Supervisor John Clarkson, and President and CEO of United Group Michael Uccellini. Following, the Bethlehem Chamber of Commerce conducted a ceremonial ribbon cutting. In celebration, a champagne toast, passed hors d’oeurves and live music was held indoors. Tours of the clubhouse and model apartments were given for interested parties.

Glenmont Abbey Village is a 148-apartment home community for active and independent adults 55 and older. With a variety of spacious 1- and 2-bedroom floor plans, apartments include a private washer and dryer, fully-applianced kitchen, a patio or balcony, crown molding, and are cable and internet ready. A state-of-the-art clubhouse is available to all residents at no extra charge and features a media theater, community room with full kitchen, indoor heated pool, game room, modern fitness center, hair salon, community gardens, and on-site management offices.
