Senior and assisted-living facilities are on the rise in south Lee and North Naples as the region prepares for an influx of baby boomers.
“We’re seeing growth across the state. I think people are gearing up for the baby boomers and what the state population will look like in five to 10 years,” said Shad Haston, executive director of the Florida Assisted Living Association.
There are multiple senior living communities and assisted living facilities under construction or newly completed in Estero, Bonita Springs and North Naples and there are more planned.
