Questions:
1.) What about United Group keeps you coming back year after year?
What keeps me coming back to United Group year after year is the environment—it’s collaborative, supportive, and constantly evolving. I’ve grown so much here because I’m continually surrounded by people willing to share knowledge, challenge each other, and push boundaries together. There’s always something new to learn or explore; that sense of ongoing opportunity and adventure energizes me. I never feel like I’m standing still here—United Group makes it easy to keep growing professionally and personally.
2.) What memories have you cherished the most out of your 5 years with United?Over the last 5 years, the memories that stick with me most are the ones that brought us together through hard work and hilarious moments. I’ll never forget when Mike and I went to the wrong airport and TSA told us we had to be across town—we were literally sprinting to make the flight! Then there are the hot August Texas takeovers, where we’re sweating through every detail but still somehow laughing and pushing forward as a team. I’ve loved celebrating those 90%+ REAC scores—because we all know how much effort goes into getting there—and being part of property takeovers, groundbreakings, and ribbon cuttings. And of course, I can’t forget the kickball game at the Wellness Fair, where I proudly serve as the pitcher since that’s the extent of my kickball talents! These moments, big and small, are what make working at United feel like being part of something truly special.
3.) In what ways have you seen the company grow and evolve?
I’ve seen United grow and evolved in so many meaningful ways over the years. We’ve expanded our portfolios footprint, and taken on more ambitious projects, all while staying grounded in our core values. There’s been a noticeable increase in training opportunities, leadership development, and open communication, which makes it clear that United doesn’t just want to grow bigger it wants to grow better. The company has also become more agile, adapting quickly to change and encouraging innovation, which keeps things exciting and forward-thinking. It’s been amazing to be part of that evolution and to know I’ve grown alongside it.
4.) What advice would you give your first day of work self after working for United Group for the past 5 years?
If I could give my first-day self some advice, it would be this: learn the United recipe for success. It’s unique, but it works—and it’s what sets this company apart. Take every opportunity to listen when the CEO shares his knowledge and experience—those moments are invaluable. Soak up everything you can from the experts around you, because at United, you’re surrounded by people who are truly the best at what they do. We’re called the United Group of Companies for a reason—there’s a whole world of expertise under one umbrella. If you stay curious, stay engaged, and commit to growing, five years from now you’ll look back and be amazed at how far you’ve come. You’ll have built unforgettable memories, seen colleagues hit new milestones, watched families grow—and you’ll have expanded your own career in ways you never imagined.
