UGOC Spotlight: Sasha Rodriquez Celebrates 5 Years

Join us in celebrating Sasha Rodriguez, Assistant Property Manager for both The Gables and The Hamilton at Lakeside, for achieving her five-year milestone anniversary with United Group! Sasha joined the Lakeside teams in 2019 and has been an instrumental component in the success of both properties.

Throughout her five years at the Kissimmee sites, Sasha has been responsible for overseeing the properties and tending to the needs of current and potential tenants.

On behalf of all of us, we thank Sasha for her years of dedication and we are delighted to celebrate her!

Congrats, Sasha!

Questions:

1. Take us back to day one! What was it like? What do you remember about your first day?

The day I started I remember being nervous, but I was welcomed by Beatriz and the two maintenance techs, Jacob and Humberto. I was also very excited for The Hamilton lease-up.

2. Walk us through a typical workday!

Typically, I come in and check amenities, check my emails, create a post for social media, and then get to coding and entering invoices. Throughout the day I will also attend to the phone, prospects, and residents. Whatever comes my way, I am ready!

 3. What is your favorite memory (so far) from your time at UGOC?

One of my favorite memories was going to Fort Myers for a class with Beatriz, my Property Manager. It was my first time there and no wonder why people retire in Fort Myers it is just breathtaking!

4. What advice would you give yourself reflecting on the last 5 years?

Start every day with a good attitude. Although things may get stressful, all will be good, and The Hamilton at Lakeside will be leased up sooner than you know it.

5. How has your role changed over the years? (If at all possible)

In the last 5 years, I have been able to play many roles from marketing, leasing, assistant manager, and even the secretary to the Gables HOA. I have had the opportunity to do table events at different festivals and attend many chambers of commerce meetings which was great for networking. These 5 years have flown by, and I am grateful to be a part of the United Group Family.
