Larry Pete – Maintenance Supervisor of The Orchards at Market Plaza – 5 Years of Service

Larry started his tenure with United Group at Parkstead City Center in snowy Northern, New York. Since then, he has proven himself to be an indispensable part of our organization and has relocated to The Orchards at Market Plaza, in Plano Texas where he is now a mere 15-minute drive from his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. Although he is missed in Watertown, we are so happy that he and his family were able to stay with UGOC while making a move they’ve looked forward to for a long time. Thank you, Larry!

The one thing that sticks out about my first day is how United Group is a team-oriented workplace, and just the conversations with my coworkers

2) Are you in the same role? What has changed about your role?

Maricela started her journey with Wallkill at the community porter, ensuring that everything was kept neat for her residents, which she takes a lot of pride in! Because of her dedication, she was later promoted to Maintenance Technician, where she is able to utilize her skills and work together with her co-workers to make sure that her community is well cared for and beautifully maintained. She is adored by all residents and staff, and we are lucky to have her!

Dana Eagelton – Senior Vice President – Millennium Credit Markets – 25 years

Dana Eagleton’s 25 years working at MCM Securities was born out of a friendship forged between our late founder, Walter Uccellini, and Michael Del Giudice.  She is the quintessential team player, doing whatever is required to ensure that MCM Securities LLC is up to date with its regulatory requirements, and as a broker-dealer registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), that is no small feat. MCM Securities LLC is also a member of FINRA and of the Securities Investor Protection Corp (SIPC), adding complexity to the regulatory challenges Dana works tirelessly to solve.  In addition to that, Dana is also our de-facto officer manager for our Manhattan outpost.  Some might call her the conductor, because she keeps so many trains running on time.  But for those of us who get to interact with her frequently we think of her as our friend Dana, because simply put Dana is good people.

1.What do you remember about your first day with UGOC?

I was very happy to learn that I would be moving with our broker/dealer, MCM Securities LLC, to UGOC/Millennium ownership and management. Michael Del Giudice and I had a great association with senior management for several years prior to the transfer and were happy to join the Firm.

2) Are you in the same role? What has changed about your role?

My role has changed over the years advancing to a senior role in transaction participation, BD compliance, registration, regulatory liaison, training, and registered office management.

3) Tell us what an average day at the office looks like:

Frankly, no average day.  Usually dealing with transactions, legal issues, regulatory filings, registered rep training, regulator requests, and office management.

4) Tell us one of your favorite early memories from your office:

My favorite memories will always be visits from Walter Uccellini, Jim Quinn and everyone else from upstate that stopped by the New York BD headquarters.

5.) What do you love most about United Group?

The great group of people I get to work with!  It is a wonderful reflection on the excellent management and organization of UGOC as a whole. And I really like the work I do with all those great people.

6.) What advice do you want to give yourself now, after working for the United Group for the past 5 years?

After 25 years, I’d say my best advice to myself is to continue to add what I can of value along the way!
