United Group Wins Big At National & Local Award Ceremonies

Troy, NY- A few new additions were recently added to the United Group of Companies, Inc.’s (United Group) trophy case.

The coveted Times Union Top Workplace Award was up for grabs again this year, and on Thursday evening, the new, state of the art Albany Convention Center was filled with public, private, nonprofit and government organizations from the greater Capital Region for the 6th annual award ceremony.

After months of review and considering nearly 100 worthy candidates, Workplace Dynamics selected United Group as a top workplace for a medium-sized company. To qualify, companies had to demonstrate core business values and maintain strong relationships and communication skills between employers and employees. Proud United Group employees from all across New York attended the event to accept the honor.

The winning steak doesn’t end there.

In January, United Group once again earned nationwide recognition at the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) 55+ Industry Council’s award ceremony in Orlando, FL. Industry leaders from across the country gathered for the prestigious 25th annual event that honored superior design and building, and the lifestyle and marketing of senior housing.

United Group received the Silver Achievement Award for “Best 55+ Direct Mail Piece or Campaign.” Over the course of a year, United Group’s marketing team created and strategically implemented various direct mail campaigns for Sandalwood Village, a high-end, active and independent community for adults 55+, located in Naples, FL. Each mailing campaign was unique and tactically micro-targeted for specific audiences.

This isn’t the first time Sandalwood Village has seen the NAHB spotlight – in 2015 it earned the Silver Achievement Award for “Best Independent Living Community on the Boards.”

The United Group team hopes to continue its good fortune by providing unmatched services in real estate development, finance, acquisitions, repositioning, and professional management.
