CC Residential taps UPPM for The Residences at Monterra Commons
CC Residential, a multifamily development firm led by Jim Carr and Armando Codina, announced today that United Plus Property Management, LLC (UPPM) will manage The Residences at Monterra Commons, an active adult community in Cooper City, FL.
“We’re excited to begin a partnership with CC Residential, one of the largest builder-developers in the state of Florida, and begin managing The Residences at Monterra Commons, which is anticipated to be a stunning and beautiful new development in Cooper City,” said Jeff Arnold, Chief Operating Officer of United Group, the parent company of UPPM. “We’re eager to introduce our unique and dynamic lifestyle programming to the community and continue to create a living environment where residents can maintain their health, stay active and stay social.”
Arnold is referring to United Group’s award-winning SUN® (Senior Umbrella Network) Program, which promotes an independent lifestyle, and offers fitness and aqua aerobics classes as well as other health and wellness services, finance, legal and administrative support, transportation services to stores, pharmacies and restaurants, education and lifelong learning seminars, and a monthly calendar of social events.
The Residences at Monterra Commons began construction this summer, and when complete will include 175 one-and two-bedroom apartments for adults aged 55 and older. Units at The Residence at Monterra Commons will range from 760 square feet for one-bedroom to 1,465 square feet for two-bedroom. Select units will include a den.
“Our goal is for The Residences at Monterra Commons to be the premiere active senior rental community in Broward County,” said Andy Burnham, President and CEO of CC Residential. “We can only do that with the right property management partner, and that’s why we chose to go with UPPM. UPPM’s decades of experience managing active and independent senior living communities coupled with our history for success will make this one of the most notable multifamily developments in South Florida.”
Amenities at the new development will feature a 20,000 square-foot clubhouse with a club room, fitness center, his/her saunas, game room, arts and crafts room, theater room and package lockers. The mid-rise rental community will also have a resort-style saltwater heated/cooled swimming pool, outdoor yoga area, community garden, bocce and pickleball courts and a dog park.
