UGOC Spotlight: United Group Celebrates National Intern Day 2024

It’s National Intern Day and United Group is excited to shine a spotlight on our three outstanding interns! Camden Schlederer has been interning at United Group since February of 2024, and Patrick Hoffman and Isabella Parrotte joined in May of 2024. All three have made remarkable impact on their UGOC teams.
Learn more about each of them, below!
Patrick Hoffman, Development
Patrick Hoffman is a student at Siena College and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance.
At United Group he supports the development team working directly under Clay Decker, Director of Acquisitions + Development. His day-to-day tasks include performing demographic analysis and market analysis for the development department.
"I’m interested in development because I want to learn as much as I can about owning real estate," Patrick said. "After graduation, I’m hoping to get more development, finance, and business management experience to eventually own and/or manage business and real estate ventures."
Isabella Parrotte, Accounting
Isabella Parrotte will be a senior at Westfield State University in the fall. She is pursuing a major in Accounting with a minor in Criminal Justice.
At United Group, Bella's daily responsibilities include processing invoices, completing 401ks, and working in Docuware and Entrata.
"I am really enjoying my internship, especially because of the direct mentorship from Tracey and Stephanie. Their guidance has been largely influential, not just in learning practical business and accounting concepts, but also in gaining the fundamental skills that I know will be invaluable throughout my career," Isabella said. "Getting this real-world experience has been one of the highlights of working here at United Group. In addition to that, the environment working here is super positive and fun. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming and has been since my first day and that is something I will always remember about working here."
After graduating in May, Isabella will work towards a master's degree in Accounting with a concentration in Fraud and Digital Forensics. She hopes to be a Forensic Accountant for the FBI with CPA and CFE certifications.
Camden Schlederer, Accounting
Camden Schelderer will be a Marketing major at Hudson Valley Community College in the fall but was formerly a student at the College of Saint Rose with a major in Marketing and a minor in Management.
"The courses I took at Saint Rose are what gained my interest in Accounting. I have always wanted to own my own business one day. Now being an Accounting Intern, I look to gain a lot of knowledge from this field to help me and my future," Camden said.
Her intern responsibilities include collecting and analyzing financial data, maintaining and updating financial records, entering financial data in the company database, and assisting accountants as needed.
"I am learning so much every time I come into United Group," Camden said. "While working, I am surrounded by support and guidance throughout my daily activities which makes me feel comfortable in knowing that I know the material I am working on."
Please join us in celebrating the incredible contributions of Patrick, Isabella, and Camden. Their dedication, passion, and unique talents have left a lasting impression on our team, and we are excited to see the bright futures that lie ahead for each of them.
Happy National Intern Day!
