United Group is excited to celebrate one of our longest-serving Florida-based employees, Beatriz Beecher, for reaching her 20-year work anniversary with the company. Beatriz started her journey with United Group in November of 2004 as the Leasing Agent of The Hamilton at Lakeside and The Gables at Lakeside, multifamily properties in Kissimmee, Florida.
Throughout her time at the communities, she was promoted to Assistant Property Manager, Property Manager and most recently, Senior Property Manager in September of 2023.
Her diligence, hard work, and considerate management style have been crucial to her community's ongoing success and her generosity, enthusiasm, and energy will always be valued and appreciated at United Group.

1.) What about United Group keeps you coming back year after year?
I’ve stayed with the company for 20 years because I believe in our mission and have found a sense of purpose in my role. The company has consistently offered opportunities for growth, and I’ve been able to develop my skills while building strong relationships with colleagues and tenants. It’s rewarding to contribute to a company that values its employees and makes a positive impact on our community.
2.) What memories have you cherished the most out of your 20 years with United?As I reflect on the past 20 years, I am filled with gratitude for the experiences and moments that have defined my journey here. It’s hard to narrow it down, but a few highlights stand out in my mind are, building relationships, seeing growth and progress, supporting our tenants, and overcoming challenges. I am very thankful for the incredible journey and memories.
3.) In what ways have you seen the company grow and evolve?
In my role as a property manager, I have had the opportunity to grow and evolve in multiple ways over the past few years. I have honed my skills in tenant relations, consistently working to create a positive community environment while addressing tenant needs effectively and empathetically. I’ve also become more adept at managing the operational side of our properties. Additionally, I’ve developed a stronger strategic perspective. I’m now better at anticipating market trends and tenant expectations, which helps me to make proactive adjustments to our offerings and ensure that our properties remain competitive and appealing. I take pride in contributing to the growth and success of our community and am eager to continue building on this progress.
4.) What advice would you give your first day of work self after working for United Group for the past 20 years?
I would tell them to embrace every opportunity to learn and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Building relationships and being a team player is key. Consistency, reliability, and a positive attitude go a long way. Always be open to feedback and remember that the people around you are your best resource. Enjoy the journey, this is a great place to grow.
