UGOC Spotlight: Michael Uccellini Celebrates 35 Years!

United Group is proud to celebrate an incredible milestone: 35 years of leadership, dedication, and impact from our President and CEO, Michael J. Uccellini.

Since joining United Group in 1991 as a Development Specialist and Commercial Property Manager, Michael has been deeply involved in the growth and operations of the organization. Over the years, he took on increasing leadership responsibilities, serving as Regional Manager and later as President of United Realty Management Corp., AMO®,   and United Development Corp. In 2006, he was appointed as President and CEO of United Group, where he continues to guide the company’s long-term vision, strategy, and performance.

Over the past 35 years, Michael has guided the company through meaningful growth and transformation. Under his leadership, United Group has expanded to more than $4 billion in development and acquisitions, the company has earned multiple industry recognitions, and has built a diverse portfolio spanning senior living, student housing, multifamily communities, and commercial properties.

What truly sets Michael apart is his conviction and clarity as a leader. He has always believed in setting ambitious goals and challenging us to meet them. That focus has played a meaningful role in building United Group into what it is today. Many of us have experienced his direct feedback, high standards, and belief that strong teams drive strong results. His leadership has shaped United Group in lasting ways and his dedication to the Company’s success is undeniable.
