UGOC Spotlight: Sarah Yaghy Celebrates 5 Years

United Group is delighted to celebrate Sarah Yaghy, Leasing and Marketing Specialist at The Apex at Crossgates, as she reaches her Five-Year Milestone with United Group!

Sarah began her journey with United Group in 2018 working as the Leasing & Marketing Specialist at Deerfield Place before transferring to a Field Marketing Manager role for Watertown portfolio and then the Corporate office where she was assigned a diversified portfolio. 

With a love for sales and marketing, Sarah was thrilled to be an integral part of one of United’s newest developments.  Sarah will be in her element where she can connect to potential residents and form strong relationships with outside partnership groups. And while the corporate office misses her laugh and energetic personality, we are happy to see her using the skills she loves the most! 

The company could not be more appreciative to Sarah for all she's done throughout her career and we are happy to celebrate her.

1.)    Take us back to day one! What was it like? What do you remember about your first day?

My first day for UGOC was at Deerfield Place. I was so excited to start working as a Leasing and Marketing Specialist.

2.)    Walk us through a typical workday!

In my current role, I spend the majority of my day following up on leads and doing outreach in the community.

3.)    What is your favorite memory (so far) from your time at UGOC?

Probably the 2022 Manager’s Retreat.

4.)    What advice would you give yourself reflecting on the last 5 years?

Always be confident in your abilities.

5.)    How has your role changed over the years? (If at all).

I have transitioned from Leasing and Marketing Specialist, to Field Marketing Manager and currently back to Leasing and Marketing Specialist.
